about

Inner Tales is the apulian vibraphonist Michele Sannelli and his Gonghers debut album.
It refers to the concept albums of the prog rock of the '70s, in a more jazzy, introspective and modern way.
Seven tracks in which Michele's life experiences and emotions are enclosed: the travels with the landscapes that most fascinated and inspired him, some of the most important people for him (who are still there and who, alas, are not with us anymore), the influences that certain musicians have had on his artistic path and much more.
Inner Tales is a journey through short musical stories, in which hopefully the listener can identify himself, let himself go to memories, feelings, dreams, in a language that is blending jazz, rock and contemporary music (especially american minimalism)
